We moved!

The move is complete but the unpacking is just beginning. We have a lot of junk. It took seven truckloads and 6 trailer loads. We are still living in boxes and searching for daily objects. We still haven't found the box with all the toilet paper. I'll be heading out to the store today. I really like my new house. Julie's room is the only room that is completely set up. I keep getting distracted and I go from room to room trying to put things away. I've really had to dejunk. We found out that our bedroom is the smallest room in the house. Julie is upstairs and has an extremely large bedroom that she can dance around in. Chad and I shuffle around the bed and still run into the walls. I think a remodel job is up ahead in the future. Jack finally has his own room and seems to be adjusting well. My dad suggested we put him outside but Jack and I didn't think that was very funny.
Day 1 of the move in we found out we needed a new water heater. Lots of fun! I realized I should be taking pictures but still haven't found the camera. Maybe I'll put the camera on the To Find list along with everything else.

Missionary Discussions and Random Pictures

A couple of weeks ago the missionaries came knocking on our door. They asked if we new anyone that they could teach and Juli spoke up and said I want to learn more. So currently she is taking missionary discussions! We are excited for her and it's really fun learning along with her. We went to an investigators baptism on Saturday. Juli is thinking about baptism but stilll has lots to learn. It is neat to see the missionaries work with her. It brought back a ton of memories from my mission. Anyways I finally started to update my blog and as usually I don't have a lot of time. So here's what we have been up to lately.

Christmas 2008

Chad was so excited Christmas morning. I finally gave in and got him an Xbox 360. I made him go on a treasure hunt to find it. We had fun. I finally posted on my blog. It's only 4 months late.

Easter

Easter came really early this year. I heard the easter bunny hopping around at 2:00 in the morning. I bet the Easter bunny was really tired this morning. Chad and I were really excited to celebrate Easter this year. It is really fun to see Juli get excited about finding eggs. Needless to say she found the most this year.

It's a girl! We have a new foster daughter. Her name is Julianne and she is 16 years old. We met her on Feb. 12 and she went home with us that night. She is perfect for our family. She loves bunnies, painting, guitar, and the same music that Chad likes. We are still adjusting and getting to know one another. We have spent the last few days shopping. Today we are going to get our hair done. We have really enjoyed having a new family member. I'll post a picture as soon as I can. She's really cute and sweet too.

Chad and I were sealed on December 20, 2006.

Now we get to celebrate two anniversaries.
